Pepper and I opted to do math on the couch this week. It was much more comfortable than doing math at the dining room table, though it did make it easier for the dogs to get involved.
Manny, especially, wanted to get right in where the action was. That meant he was sitting on my lap.
He was also intrigued by the cursor on Pepper’s computer. I think he thought it was a fly. He kept following it with his eyes, and then, when it would stop, he’d snap at it. Pepper had a bit of screen cleaning to do once we were done.
But, that’s a small price to pay for getting to keep your dog with you during math class. (Though having a dog on your lap does make equation writing a bit difficult).
From the dining room table – with no dogs on my lap today, thankfully,
