Ginger’s peace lily is blooming!
She’s had this plant for over a year now, and this is the first time we’ve seen it bloom. I’m so impressed, mainly, because my mother always made a big thing over peace lilies blooming. She, herself, had terrible luck getting peace lilies to bloom, while my sister, she said, could always manage it. From what I’ve read, it has much to do with light conditions – something about peace lilies needing moderate to bright indirect light. That’s exactly what Ginger has in her room which probably explains why the plant is so happy. In fact, this is one of three blooms the plant is putting out right now – well-timed for the season, don’t you think?
