The weather was beautiful this past week. To take advantage of it, we spent as much time as possible outside. On Wednesday, we hit Forest Park in Springfield – a perfect place to practice with the Prisma App. Even ho-hum photos of tree roots can come alive with the right setting. Here’s a photo without […]

Country Living

I had meant to take more pictures while on vacation in Idaho. I had meant to blog about the things we did and the sights we saw, but, in the end, I never got around to it. And, I can’t blame it on the wild excitement of travel. My parents live in a small town […]

Just a dog in a hammock. Nothing to see here.

With travel comes new experiences. For Pepper that meant hanging out in a hammock last night with Jack – my sister’s nine-month-old boxer. Fun stuff!

Ginger has been celebrating her birthday for two weeks now.

First, there was the family party before we left Massachusetts. Then there was the party with Grandma M. on Whidbey Island. That was last Sunday. On Ginger’s actual birthday, there was another small celebration involving pizza and an ice cream cake. And, finally, this afternoon, we said goodbye to the guests invited to the grand finale: a cousins sleepover. Six girls between the ages of 9 and 12, all under one roof.

There were cupcakes…

more pizza…

And another trip to the YMCA.

Now, finally, we are done. I confess to feeling some relief, but for Ginger, it was a glorious two weeks.
